Marv Golden Pilot Supplies is a brick and mortar shop located in San Diego. They operate in the aviation space providing pilots with gear, training material, and aircraft supplies. Marv Golden Pilot Supplies (MG) operated a small e-commerce web presence. The problem was multi-fold.
- The system they were using was limited in functionality and difficult from a user-end perspective.
- They had no real uniform marketing message.
- They did not actively reach out to customers through any other method besides a one-monthly email blast.
- Although they had competitive pricing, they were consistently losing to larger pilot supplies stores.
The Solution
- Conceptualized and Designed a new, custom e-commerce store that highlighted the nostalgia of flying.
- Developed the store on the Magento e-commerce system as it was scalable without being overly cumbersome.
- Strategized a seamless marketing plan that entailed pay-per-click, email marketing, social media, and organic work.
